Quite a Selection at the Co-Op

This was take from Safa Park in Dubai. The Union Co-Operative is a supermarket, and that's Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's prime minister, vice president, and ruler of Dubai.

Interesting photo with the ruler! It would be fun to see an interior picture of the Co-op.

Thanks, Leif. It's not a co-op in the true sense of the word. Just a name, apparently. I will take some photos of the inside. It's not too different from stores back home. This is in Dubai where supermarkets tend to be a lot bigger and more like those back in the US. Abu Dhabi's supermarkets tend to be much smaller.

I went in the co-Op in Mankool once. I wasn't that impressed. Carrfour in City Centre is too noisy Think I'll always be a Spinneys man.
